About two days ago, an early morning jogger notified authorities of a car wreckage off Baytree Canyon Road in Vinewood Hills. The car, a yellow Bollokan Prairie, was found heavily damaged in a ditch about 100 yards north of the road’s intersection with Mount Haan Drive. The police arrived on the scene early morning and were able to tape off the area. Paramedics were able to retrieve the body of the deceased driver. We are told that the driver was a man in his late thirties who likely died during the final crash impact. This footage of the crash was compiled from nearby security cameras. The footage, looped at half-speed, may be mildly unsettling to watch. Authorities were initially at a loss, but careful analysis of the vehicle’s aftermarket parts allowed it to be linked to a local mod shop near Los Santos International Airport. Several past incidents have also been tied to this particular mod shop. This leads police to believe that the shop may be a major supplier of aftermarket mods in the local street racing scene. Street racing in Los Santos has seen wild fluctuations over the last four decades with the latest surge occurring this past summer. In the past year, there have been a reported total of over 600 street racing-related fatalities. Of those fatalities, over seventy percent were pedestrians. Street racing has been regarded as a pox on Los Santos safety by the LSPD and is a major hot-button issue amongst citizens of the city. As for this incident, investigations are currently ongoing. We will continue to update as the story develops. Scarfox64PCEO News contributor
