[PGAM] Defender Rules of Engagement
When a random player enters the lobby:
1• Do not communicate with the random unless you've been given explicit clearance to recruit by knowing the criteria recommended to do so. Even a well intended and polite, single message can lead to negative repercussions.
2• Bounties are ok but do not send muggers, and do not send mercenaries after the random. We want to avoid antagonising them.
3• Do not approach a random unless they become CLEARLY HOSTILE with a [PGAM] member. See the section “ What is a hostile random ” for details.
4• Keeping track of a random should be done on the Pause Menu Map. Do not go up close in order to “supervise them”. We do not want defense to appear as a “ challenge” to randoms.
5• Only a vote-to-kick is necessary first. Use these wisely and coordinate with each other so you are all kicking the same random.
6• Hostile randoms are to be contained and kept away from cargo sales. Kicking them is always the #1 priority.
7• Heist teams may load in as a group. Ignore them at first because they may leave as a group too. If we attract their interest, they may stay.
8• Randoms are NOT to be acknowledged unless they become openly hostile by firing on cargo, members, or at you. Being in a weaponized vehicle is immediate concern and means you can fire first ..determined by circumstances.
9• No lobby should be a warzone. We do not announce a “greenlight” to the lobby members. It provides some of them a reason to join in and others a reason to give up and exit the lobby, meanwhile their votes will be used to kick. All members are to go passive if in direct vicinity and adviced to go indoors. Sales can NOW be run at members own risk in lobbies
with less than 3-5 randoms.
10• If members can not successfully kick the randoms, the lobby can be remade or NAT-ted. We want members to be self reliant, not dependent on being saved all the time.

What is a HOSTILE random?
1• A random is considered “hostile” if they clearly pursue and attack [PGAM] cargo.
2• Once a random has destroyed cargo, they can be treated as hostile from that point on.
3• No other activity by a random should be considered hostile. Just approaching a member who is not carrying cargo is normal GTA behavior. If they persist in killing a [PGAM] member and cargo is at risk, they can be considered hostile.
4• Randoms which casually kill each other are not hostile.
5• We consider hostility to cargo as a “hostile random”
[PGAM] Defence General Protocols
1• Be polite and be courteous in every situation. This is our best line of defense. We want to represent our crew with respect and with as little hostilities as possible.
2• Always keep an eye on the players list and begin the VTK process as soon as possible. Be sure to relay if a random has shown hostile intentions and needs priority kicking
*high mental state,
*registering,
*in the killfeed,
*verbal threat (message)
Assess and Communicate.
Situations are time-sensitive.
3• Please use direct/Xbox messages when communicating and dealing with members to reduce the risk of raising their defenses and disrupting the flow of the channel.
4• Please assist your fellow defenders and communicate with each other in team channels. It's much faster and less congested.
5• The instant you see a known hostile join a lobby or anything suspicious, screencap the player list and record the last 5 minutes, It might help uncover a mole.
6• Remember to check on a regular basis for fake members under illegitimate tags and take the proper action.
7• Defenders must always wear their tags when in our lobbies.
8• If you see suspicious activity among members, please let a @Justice_rep know as soon as possible

The following will result in a defence “strike”
1• Intentionally killing a crewmember, beyond what is necessary for defense, and without explicit consent.
2• Taunting or baiting of a crewmember to provoke a reaction from them either in-game or in chat or communications.
3• Condescending, belittling, disparaging, communication with a crewmember or in public chat with a member. A third party (@Justice_rep ) can be asked to educate frustrating members.
4• Multiple complaints received from crewmembers. We aren't going to take just one person’s word on any of the above unless it’s egregious.
– First Strike will be a verbal warning
– Second Strike will give a temporary ban from defense.
– Third Strike gets you a permanent removal from defense.
