Shortly after Marcijip and Shinnoxia settle into their new positions on The Executive Counsel, AyGregg resigns his role, having been here since the beginning in some form or another. Just days later, Average Trey also announces his stepping down from his second term, surprising many members, leaving an Executive team of four. With ButtonCraze24 retiring from the Executive team at the beginning of the month, the voting has begun to find the next two executives to join the team in Button's place, who now proudly takes his place within our venerated Consultants.  The view inside the Parliament Chamber With the second largest pool of candidates during an election in PGAM's history, surpassed only by last year's elections in June, a lot of excitement and anxiety has already been shown in the run-up to the voting period. With such a large pool of candidates, it's only fitting that they encompass all parts of the PGAM team; Members, Lobby Inviters, Lobby Hosts, Event Guides, Defenders and Justice Reps have all stood up to the plate, eager to make their mark.
Which two of these candidates will ultimately fill the spots on the Executive team? Stay tuned to find out... New reports indicate that the PGAM merchandise storefront has been expanded to include new product lines, following added support from PGAM's distribution partners.  A selection of products currently offered on the site. Proceeds from the store currently go towards providing award incentives for events, with anything else being used to cover expenditures related to the site.
A PGAM spokesperson was not available for comment, however a hobo who seemed to know some details regarding PGAM had this to say: "I aim to set prices so it just covers the printing costs & fees without generating profit. The main reason for merch is so we can give out store coupons for the event rewards which is funded by the Patreons. Overall, the store generates a slight loss because it required a website upgrade to enable it, so technically its entirely subsidised by the Patreon pledges." When asked for further comment, the hobo wandered off saying they "need to sort out their crippling addiction to BST". We will bring you further updates on this story as it develops. Each of the 8 candidates submitted their campaigns for parliament to decide, and after a series of friendly discussions in the parliament channel it was the OG favourite AverageTrey that cruised to victory with 40 votes. After one of the toughest campaigns in PGAM history, AllWildEagle and ButtonCraze24 have been confirmed as the latest two members of the PGAM executive council. The drama filled race took place over two rounds in the #parliament_chamber, with five of the initial ten candidates advancing to the second round of voting. On his fourth attempt at standing for the position, AllWildEagle swept ahead in the initial poll making him a clear favourite for the second round; a round which he went on to win by a clear majority. Eagle's running mate Guod1 initially tied neck and neck with Skittlz, however it was fourth placed ButtonCraze that took second place thanks to his unconventional campaign strategy: remain calm, quiet and hidden in a bush. Runner-up Jakewhyy was a surprise hit in the first round, and he continued to gain additional votes in the final. Congratulations @ALLWILD EAGLE and @ButtonCraze24 I have faith both of you will steer the PGAM ship true and steady!!!  Greg did a great job managing the election.

Supermarket shelves are emptying and businesses are closing, as San Andreas announces a state wide lockdown in response to a growing number of Car-Owner Virus cases. The deadly outbreak began in China, where a group of Maibatsu factory workers became the first human cases to show symptoms of the disease. Health officials say a contaminated batch of Pangolin Dashboard trim used on the 2020 Penumbra model is the most likely source of the virus.  As the number of affected car models continues to rise exponentially, residents of Los Santos have begun stockpiling essential supplies. Shoppers at the Davis Mega Mall are reporting empty toilet paper aisles, with violent confrontation between desperate customers seemingly commonplace.  Public Health Los Santos has issued the following advice: Always wash your hands after touching the steering wheel, and maintain separation of at least 2 feet between yourself and the air freshener.  Legitimate business earnings in Los Santos are already nearing collapse, and this outbreak of Car-Owner virus will likely deal a significant blow to the city's once-booming entertainment industry. All city night clubs are required to shut their doors to prevent further spread, yet there is no indication of how long these lock-down procedures will need to remain in place. The campaign in question was traced to a secure bunker in the foothills of Mount Chiliad, where group calling themselves the 'seekers' have been operating for the last few years. Both members have been praised for their amazing work guiding the community, and they will now display the highly respected 'OG' rank on discord.

Campaigning has now begun to find an additional two members of the executive team, with all PGAM members welcome to apply for the position.
Executive campaigns will go to the #pgam_parliament for a vote, and the selected nominee will be presented to the sitting executive team for confirmation. Feel free to submit your campaign below, or alternatively via the PGAM Democracy page. A deadline for campaign submissions will be announced on Discord, and voting will take place in the #parliament_chamber once campaigns are published. With the holiday season over and a small avalanche of new applicants to process, the PGAM executive team is pleased to announce the latest additions to the executive council; AverageTrey and AyGreg Egg. To expedite the process, a proposal to re-run the previous executive campaigns was put to parliament by the sitting executive team and the motion passed with 84% in favour. Prior to their appointment by the PGAM Parliament, both Trey and Greg were members of the PGAM Justice team. It's likely that finding replacement justice reps to fill the now vacant positions will be among the first orders of business for the new executives. Any PGAM Members wishing to apply for a justice position are welcome to apply using this link. Crowds gathered from all over San Andreas last month as AllWild Eagle hosted his first PGAM car meet. The event spanned various locations and vehicular themes, and onlookers were said to be amazed at the variety of cars on show. The event took several hours to complete, with the only reported complaint coming from the groundskeeper of the Galileo Observatory:

Even the sound of a pet retching struggles to get me out of bed on a Sunday. While I'm not on all that often compared to the US and UK players I try to get involved where I can and always happy to help out. I'm usually lurking on the chat channels even when at work. AyGreg EggI've been involved with PGAM for around 18 months. I’ve been with the crew for awhile and I have a good idea of what needs to happen to make it work without anything unnecessary. I feel like my 1 year as a defender has at least given me some experience in regards to what needs to be done in this position. I have also been a Justice Rep here in PGAM since it was created and have helped with a few of the cases that justice reps have had to deal with so far, giving me a good judge of character to help make the right decision when it needs to be done.  ALLWILD EAGLEHowdy PGAM members, let me give a brief introduction about myself, I’m a part time Family Physician/ Student, I tend discord in-between patients and whenever I have free time to do so. I speculate that being an Executive Councilor doesn’t hold any power, but holds countless amounts of responsibility, Councilors are responsible for recruiting new additions to our PGAM family, Updating and proposing rules to keep our Community at rest, and reviewing team applications to keep out lobbies running efficiently, currently mrbelic and nolingo have been doing a fabulous job with these duties, but I’m also willing to dedicate myself and share the workload with them. I’ve had great affection and regard for the PGAM community since PCEO, I am a laidback person and love to answer questions and inquires to my fellow members, I am also a good problem solver and can go through while I’m under a lot of pressure, I believe my skills can well translate into helping things move more smoothly around here, but as you all know, no-one is perfect, but I will still try to the best of my abilities to fulfill my duties. When I first joined PCEO my main objective was just to grind, but as time passed I started realizing that GTA was not the thing that held the utmost significance, it was the unity of our PGAM family, We have a great crew filled with lots of benevolent, compassionate, admiring people I’ve ever met, and I anticipate to contribute the most I can to the PGAM family giving back to this glorious community which has come a long way about.I’ll just leave this to you guys good judgement, Thank you all for your consideration. Having previously served as a community rep for pceo and currently as a justice rep has given me good knowledge of the rules and what members expect from the leadership team. I’ve always been about putting members first and maintaining a friendly fun atmosphere. While my in game time may vary my dedication to the crew and community will always be there.  |
