Users of pceo.online were frustrated today, after a wordpress vulnerability lead to the appearance of unwanted popups on the site.
Peaceful CEOs took to reddit to alert the team of the issue, and site admins quickly identified and removed the malicious code. Admins are now working hard to restore the platform to prevent re-infections:
"I just cleaned up the infections. We would still have to update the plugin or temporary disable uploads to prevent re-infection."
If users experience the pop up again, they are advised to press cancel or block, and reload the page.
Thanks to a generous donation by member Cxsket, PCEO News was finally able to purchase it's own Maverick Helicopter today. As a result of this acquisition, the cash strapped media company has reduced it's Aerial footage cost from Lester's extortionate rate of $700 per 12 minutes, to a much more reasonable rate of $200 per spawn.
The PCEO founder had this to say:
We've always wanted a helicopter here at PCEO News. They're used daily, but after purchasing the News office and garage we just didnt have the money left over. I've already sold a bunch of personal cars and even sunk my Classic Sentinel refund into the company. Despite this, we were still about 200K short for the cheapest helicopter before today. Getting one now is the icing on the cake and we're very grateful indeed.
Although the donation was reported to be 2 million gta$, the News organisation is still operating at a loss. This is the first significant income for the organisation, which investors say has a current expense bill totalling at least 3 Million gta$
After posing for the cameras, the generous contributor was invited by the founder to ride along on the maiden journey.
oo7im revealed he was not carrying a valid pilots license at the time, but both players went ahead with the flight anyway.

oo7im has apologised to fellow member iscareurparrot, after an accidental weapon discharge resulted in the player's unexpected death.
The pair had just finished a routine sailing adventure and were leaving the marina when oo7im's pistol accidentally discharged. The founder described the event as a 'freak accident', and said he was just attempting to reverse his car when he accidentally pressed the 'shoulder button'.
Accidental discharges are fairly common, and have led to the regulation of other 'one button' kill weapons in lobbies, however the chances of landing a perfect head shot with a pistol are much lower. As per PCEO protocol, oo7im recorded the clip below and submitted to the community reps as evidence.
When asked to comment, oo7im said:
"I usually discard my pistol as soon as I load into the lobby, but I forgot today as I went straight to the office"
PCEO's founder has previously been known to spread an anti-gun message, proudly proclaiming that he discards his only weapon when loading into a session. The fact that the weapon remained in his possession for the duration of the session has led conspiracy theorists to claim the act could've been pre-meditated.
oo7im has accepted full responsibility for Parrot's death, and said this of the rumours:
To suggest that this freak occurrence was pre-meditated is nothing more than wild conspiracy theory. Those guys probably believe in the PCEO illuminati as well.... It's offensive and grotesque!
To help with the investigation, oo7im volunteered to submit footage of his time with parrot in the run up to the killing. No motive could be found, and the role of the other sea-going players in the video is still unknown.
oo7im and the rest of the development team are still hard at work preparing www.peacefulgamers.com for it's official launch announcement.
Work is currently focused on streamlining the 'back end' application system, as well as finalising plans for an exciting in-game launch event for [PCEO] members.
Whilst work on the project continues, the wider [PCEO] team is still doing a great job providing security for lobbies and ensuring things run smoothly.
A day of celebration and leisure turned violent on Friday, when a gathering of peaceful citizens with their blimps and other aircraft was met with police brutality in yet another such incident to plague our fair city.
When PCEO News arrived on the scene, it was a majestic spectacle: an air show on Del Perro beach, with a rainbow of blimps and specialty aircraft, and citizens gathered in peaceful enjoyment. It didn't take long, however, for the many celebratory flares filling the sky to create panic among our generally calm and helpful police force.
Before long, terrified citizens were taking cover behind our very own news van in a bitter struggle to survive an overreaction based on simple misunderstanding gone tragically awry. Fire filled the sky as blimps exploded all around, and reporters were fortunate to escape to a safe distance with a handful of survivors as a war between civil servants and taxpayers fed up with injustice turned Del Perro beach into a bloodbath.
Emergency services have not yet released a count of casualties among the police, and the body count of simple pedestrians is still unknown. However we are pleased to report that all peaceful citizens have already recovered from their injuries and returned to their lives as productive members of society.
Damages in this incident are estimated to have been hundreds of millions of hard earned taxpayer dollars.
