R* apologises to PCEO founder. agrees to pay compensation of nearly$700,000 for lost vehicle.

After a prolonged dispute between R* and PCEO's founder oo7im, it has
emerged that R* will step down from their initial position and has agreed to pay a
large compensation sum to the tune of $687,655 for the founder's lost Sentinel.

The founder admitted he was responsible for the mistake which led to his
$650,000+ sentinel being replaced by a stolen camper van, however he claimed
the mechanism through which he 'permanently' lost the vehicle was a 'flaw in the
game, as opposed to a welcome feature'.

oo7im is said to be very happy with the ruling, and had this to say:

"I was going to sell the Sentinel anyway to make money for the new DLC. The
guys at LSC wanted to give me 320K, so getting nearly 700K from R* is the
perfect outcome!"

R* elevated the case to 'support tier 2' in order to approve the payment, and
insisted that this was 'one time accommodation'.
