oo7im has apologised to fellow member iscareurparrot, after an accidental weapon discharge resulted in the player's unexpected death.
The pair had just finished a routine sailing adventure and were leaving the marina when oo7im's pistol accidentally discharged. The founder described the event as a 'freak accident', and said he was just attempting to reverse his car when he accidentally pressed the 'shoulder button'.
Accidental discharges are fairly common, and have led to the regulation of other 'one button' kill weapons in lobbies, however the chances of landing a perfect head shot with a pistol are much lower. As per PCEO protocol, oo7im recorded the clip below and submitted to the community reps as evidence.
When asked to comment, oo7im said:
"I usually discard my pistol as soon as I load into the lobby, but I forgot today as I went straight to the office"
PCEO's founder has previously been known to spread an anti-gun message, proudly proclaiming that he discards his only weapon when loading into a session. The fact that the weapon remained in his possession for the duration of the session has led conspiracy theorists to claim the act could've been pre-meditated.
oo7im has accepted full responsibility for Parrot's death, and said this of the rumours: To suggest that this freak occurrence was pre-meditated is nothing more than wild conspiracy theory. Those guys probably believe in the PCEO illuminati as well.... It's offensive and grotesque!
To help with the investigation, oo7im volunteered to submit footage of his time with parrot in the run up to the killing. No motive could be found, and the role of the other sea-going players in the video is still unknown.
