Using a fresh, secondary character slot when you start is highly recommended.
Turn off the HUD for more immersion.
Set your spawn point to last location.
Drop firearms and ammo when loading into lobby - melee weapons & Molotovs are okay (these can be found on the streets if you look hard enough)
Refuse all job offers, missions and paid activities - it's a slippery slope back to the grind. Your primary income should be the good sport bonus (welfare). If you accidentally find yourself with lots of money, consider withdrawing it with your other character slot, or perhaps purchasing an expensive gold chain or set of expensive rims for your rust bucket.

I thought you had turned a corner and started contributing to society. I’m sad to see this regression. Please, PCEO, don’t encourage this behavior. Make sure to alert the authorities if you see him acting suspicious. He’s been known to rob stores for beer money.

We’ve all seen hard times. But it’s just disgusting when I’m ordering my lunch from a taco truck prior to stealing it to have to stomach the sight and smell of oo7im stumbling drunk down the street in his discolored wife beater and piss-soaked slacks.

I want to try this now. Just walk/hike across the map with no car and explore.

Lol. I came across you probably atleast a year ago and i ended up tagging along in my own full hobo get up. I remember rolling around in the subway for a bit, going to the hobo meet up spots, and cruising around in your emporer or tornado or whichever it was. Pretty sure i might have screenshots around somewhere. Hilarious to see youre still at it.
